It would honestly be amazing. With good controller support. I only own one copy of Metal Gear Solid 3. As apposed to my 6 different copies of MGS2. This one is hard to get multiple copies of. If you were ever to manage to port this to PC, I'm buying asap. Especially Snake Eater!!! Give us the rest of one of the top 5 greatest gaming franchises of all time!!!
I only ever played the second one and as a kid it took me a super long time to beat. I randomly stumbled upon 3 from the ladder scene and that sorta sucked me in.
I would really like to get a full experience of the game officially with computer controls. This game never got officially port to PC, like never and Konami is just playing safely these days, i don't exept anyhting from them.
We got 1 and 2, time to bring 3 preferably Subsistence and 4 to PC. It's the only game in the series I care about anymore. I'll give Konami money if they do it. Metal Gear Solid 3 is arguably the best title in the series. However, only time will tell if Konami's willing to do it or not. Just don't expect it to be the best quality, though I imagine fixes will be released to make it great.
Anyway, the only MGS out there that'll most likely never have a chance to get ported to other consoles is MGS4, just because of the hardware of the ps3. One of the essential games from the 's decade era, Total masterpiece and very inaccessible nowadays.
Bring this game please!! This beauty has to get on here! Perhaps you could come to an agreement with Konami and Nvidia you could use the shield TV port as a 'baseline'. Keep it real guys the wishlist. Forget about console exclusive games on GOG, it will never happen. This will probably be the best thing ever. As a fan of the series I honestly can't wait.
I disagree that Konami refuses to care about legacy titles. There is only one thing Konami cares about now. They'd drown their grandparents if there was cash in it. If they had some kind of evidence that a bare bones port of an old game would turn a profit, that's exactly what they'd do.
Of course Konami wouldn't do any work themselves; they'd just email source code and wire a check to the cheapest bidder.
Wishlisting isn't a waste of time. It would probably take more like , for someone there to notice than the 1, we have now, but still.
Showing desire and willingness to throw money at a corporation is never completely futile. You guys do realize there is literally 0 chance of this happening ever, right? Konami is as Konami does, and while I'm surprised they even lifted the finger to rerelease their year old PC ports, there's a whole world of difference between rereleasing something and making a brand new port, and Konami's days of giving a crap about their legacy titles are pretty solidly over.
